About us

Taival Bags is a Finnish company specialized in manufacturing high quality bags and gear for use in severe Nordic weather. Our design philosophy emphasizes durability, fuctionality, repairability and Skandinavian craftmanship. Most of our materials are sourced from Europe.

All of our products are handmade in Finland.

Materials:

The main material of our bags is Cordura® fabric, which is especially resilient and durable fabric mainly found in military applications. To improve the durability and weather resistance of our bags, we added an internal TPU-lined shell inside our bags, the TPU-material can withstand the coldest of conditions without cracking. Our zippers and buckles are made by YKK® especially for heavy duty applications. Webbings we use in our packs are sourced straight from military applications.

Sustainability:

Long lasting products save the environment. Our products are designed for repailability and the inner compartment of our backpacks can be replaced. In our production we are aimed to reduce wasted resources, material and minimize the environmental impacts. All of our production is done within the same facility from the start to end.

Designed for our body:

Our packs are designed to contour the shapes of the body, which is why we are offering two different sizes for our bacpacks.

Guaranteed to last:

The manufacturing of our bags is enclosed in the same building from the cutting of the fabric to shipping. We do not produce any products outside of Finland. All of our bags go trough a individual inspection before packing. All goods have 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
