Delivery terms

These delivery terms apply to the taivalbags.com online store and are valid from 17.12.2023. We may unilaterally change the delivery terms from time to time, so please familiarize yourself with our delivery terms in advance each time you order products from our online store.

Taival Bags, business ID: 3385290-4, mailing address: Kinaporinkatu 5 A 37; tel: 044 7444074. Sells products to companies and adults in the EU. These delivery terms apply to ordering products from our online store and to similar deliveries.

Products and product prices

The features and prices of the products in the online store are presented in connection with the product presentation of each product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs, so please check the prices in the shopping cart before accepting the order. The prices of the products include value added tax, which is shown in the shopping cart and in the order confirmation.

Shipping costs

The shipping costs that may be charged for an order depend on the product itself (e.g. weight, packaging) and the selected delivery method and are automatically added to the total order amount. Domestic(Finland) shipping costs are calculated at checkout, for orders under 150€, free shipping is for orders over 150€. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. You can see the shipping costs (if any) charged for your order in your shopping cart before you accept the order.

Ordering and agreement

You can order products on our online store's website and by confirming the order and paying for the purchases in the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to have read and agreed to our current delivery terms. You understand that your order, which you accept and confirm, is, except for what is mentioned later about the right of cancellation, binding and creates an agreement between us with these delivery terms.

Payment and payment methods

You can pay for your order using the payment methods described in the online store and available in the shopping cart.

Shopify Payments is the payment intermediary service for Apple Pay and Google Pay payment methods.

Order and payment confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email, so please provide your email address when you place an order. The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used.

If for some unexpected reason we are unable to confirm your order, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.

Delivery method

We will deliver your order using one of the delivery methods mentioned on our website, which you select when placing your order.

Delivery time

We process incoming orders within approximately 1-5 business days, after which the product will be shipped. The delivery time for domestic packages is usually approximately 2-5 business days from shipment.

Right of cancellation and return conditions

The right of return does not apply to custom-made products.

If you are a consumer, you have the right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act to cancel your order by notifying us of this no later than 14 days after receiving the goods or the last batch of goods or, in the case of regular delivery of goods, after receiving the first batch of goods.

The cancellation notice must be made clearly, for example, on our form or by email or by a written notice that you provide with the returned goods.

The products to be returned must be in their original packaging, unused and well packaged for return.

If the transaction is canceled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after submitting the cancellation notice to our Return Address mentioned below. If necessary, the returner must prove that the goods have been returned within the specified period, for example with a return receipt. Returns are free for our shipments in Finland. When returning from countries other than Finland, the customer is responsible for the costs of the return.

When returning a delivered order, please include your name and contact information as well as your account number for a refund.

We will refund the money you paid for the order without delay in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Checking the shipment, errors and problems

Please inspect the delivery immediately upon receipt. If the product is lost or damaged during transport or does not correspond to your order or is incorrect, please notify our Customer Service as soon as possible and no later than 14 days, and we will agree on how to correct the error. In consumer trade, we comply with the mandatory liability provisions of the Consumer Protection Act regarding errors.

Force Majeure

Taivalbags.com is not responsible for delays or damages caused by an obstacle beyond its control, the effects of which cannot be reasonably anticipated or avoided. Such events include, for example, disruptions in transport, fires, natural disasters, wars or interventions by authorities.

Limitation of Liability

Taivalbags.com is not liable for any indirect, direct or other damage related to the order, delivery or product or any of the above, except to the extent that a mandatory provision in the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law has stipulated otherwise with respect to the damage in question.

Disputes

We will endeavour to resolve any disputes regarding your order by negotiation, so please contact our Customer Service first to resolve the matter.
