What is the difference between cam buckles and hook and loop attachment?
Cam buckles offer higher load tolerances and allow for easier attachment and detachment. Hook and loop fastening is less durable and degrades over multiple attachment cycles.
Another benefit of cam buckles is the absence of fraying which is often found in hook and loop straps.
